Meet Rob Rosati
Rob Rosati, the proprietor of Robbies Hobbies in Columbus, Ohio, has a rich background in the printing and graphics industry, starting his career in 1983 in Akron, Ohio. With over 30 years of experience in this field, he ventured into entrepreneurship by establishing Instant Signs Co., a sign company catering to a diverse clientele.
In addition to his sign business, Rob launched Robbies Hobbies in 2004, a retail store specializing in toys and hobbies. Offering a wide range of products from Lionel Trains, Carrera Slot Cars, Estes Rockets, Hot Wheels, Playmobil, and many more. Rob's store caters to collectors of all ages, from young enthusiasts to seasoned adults.
For over 19 years, Rob has been an integral part of the Central Ohio community, providing not just products but also sharing his passion and expertise with customers. One of his most fulfilling aspects is acquiring and reselling vintage collectibles at discounted prices, ensuring customers receive exceptional value. Rob's store boasts a knowledgeable team proficient in trains, slot cars, and model rockets, offering guidance to both beginners and seasoned hobbyists.
Beyond the physical store, Rob extends his reach by facilitating orders for hobby items, leveraging platforms like eBay and his website to broaden his customer base. Rob has married for over 29 years to wife Chris who is a professional wildlife artist and conservation advocate along with two grown children Jakob, a resident of Chicago and Lily in Indianapolis. Rob graduated from Kent State University with a degree in graphics and design.
